3-D Ultra MiniGolf Theme Pack
Installation Instructions
****************************************************************************
Thank you for downloading Sierra On-Line's 3-D Ultra MiniGolf Theme Pack
for Microsoft Windows '95.
Here are instructions on how to finish installing your Theme-Pack:
Go to the folder the Theme files were just extracted into and double-
click on the "3-D Ultra MiniGolf(high color).thm.
"Plus" will run automatically.
In the "Settings" area on the right, be sure that everything has a check
mark next to it.
****************************************************************************
Installing the 3-D Ultra MiniGolf SCREEN SAVER:
1. Copy or move the files:
3-D Ultra MiniGolf Screen Saver.msf
and
3-D Ultra MiniGolf Screen Saver.scr
and
CiSe11.isd
FROM your "Plus!/Themes" folder, TO your "Windows/System" folder.
2. Now right click on your desktop and select "Properties",
then "Screen Saver".
"3-D Ultra MiniGolf Screen Saver" will be one of your options.
Once you've selected it, click "Apply" and "Okay".
****************************************************************************
Here's what you need to do to replace your Windows 95 Start-Up & Shut-Down
screens with the "3-D Ultra MiniGolf" ones:
The 3 files you'll need were extracted into the "Plus!\Themes" folder when
you extracted the "MINI_THM.ZIP".
They are:
1. "LOGO.SYS"
2. "LOGOW.SYS"
3. "LOGOS.SYS"
1. The "LOGO.SYS" file belongs in the ROOT DIRECTORY of your boot HD
(This is usually C:\).
If there IS already a "LOGO.SYS" file there, you may want to rename it
or copy it to a folder where it will be safe.
If there ISN'T one there already, just copy "LOGO.SYS" from the
"Plus!\Themes" folder.
If you ever get tired of looking at OUR Start-Up screen, simply re-name
"LOGO.SYS" or delete it (by deleting it, Windows 95 reactivates its
original Start-Up screen).
2. The "LOGOW.SYS" and "LOGOS.SYS" files belong in your Windows directory.
WARNING - UNLIKE THE LOGO.SYS FILE, THE LOGOW AND LOGOS FILES FOR
WINDOWS 95 ARE NOT "IMBEDDED".
PLEASE RENAME OR BACK-UP THESE FILES IF YOU THINK YOU EVER WANT TO SEE
THEM AGAIN.
Once they're in place, you'll be greeted with new "wait" and "shut down"
screens for Windows 95.
If you ever get tired of them, copy over them with the back-up Windows 95
LOGOW.SYS and LOGOS.SYS files that you made.
******************************************************************************
HAVE FUN!
{Techno-Legal Mumbo-Jumbo:}
Note: This high-color theme pack has been optimized to work with a 16-bit
